The integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Daoist nourishment principles, and the practical sciences of long-term wellbeing. A classroom for those who want to understand health from the inside out.
Yǎngshēng 養生 is the classical Chinese science of nourishing life across its full span.
It draws from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dàoist principles of cultivation, herbal and dietary tradition, and the lived wisdom of practitioners who treated the body as a living system to be tended — not a machine to be repaired.
The Cultivated Wellness curriculum at Origin Institute will integrate these classical sciences with the practical knowledge a modern practitioner needs to apply them: seasonal living, breath and food, movement and rest, the inner climate and the outer one.
The Cultivated Wellness classroom is currently in development. It will integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine, classical Dàoist principles of nourishment, and the practical disciplines of long-term wellbeing into a single, coherent curriculum.
Health, in the classical view, is not the absence of illness. It is the active cultivation of vitality — and it can be taught.
When this classroom opens, it will be the most complete integration of these sciences offered anywhere.
Origin Institute does not release classrooms until they are genuinely ready. Each curriculum passes through four stages of development before students receive it.
Drawing from Master Baptista's transmission, the classical canon, and consultation with lineage holders.
Structuring the progressive Duàns, the practice sequences, and the integration points across pillars.
Filming with Master Baptista, building the lessons, and refining the teaching at the level of every detail.
The classroom opens inside Origin Temple. Students begin the structured pathway of practice.
The most reliable way is to begin walking the path that's already open. Every classroom flows from the same foundation. Students inside Origin Temple receive notification when each new classroom opens.
