A non-denominational private ministerial association and living monastery, organized as a church under Section 508(c)(1)(a) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Origin Temple is a non-denominational private ministerial association organized and operating as a church under Section 508(c)(1)(a) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is an unincorporated spiritual ministry — a living monastery devoted to spiritual cultivation, authentic transmission, and meaningful service in the world.
Origin Temple is not bound by any single religious ideology. It derives truth and enlightenment from all traditions, teachings, or none at all — fostering a universal path to spiritual sovereignty rooted in the innate spiritual intelligence within each person.
The Temple is the church. Origin Institute — its 501(c)(3) educational arm — is the curriculum.
Origin Temple operates today as a worldwide Digital Monastery while building toward a physical living monastery on the land. The online community serves the residential community to come.
Members access Origin Institute's educational courses, live instruction, community discussions, and other ministerial activities through Origin Temple's online platform — available via the Origin Temple app on iOS and Android, and through the web portal.
We are actively building toward a physical living monastery — a dedicated space for in-person instruction, seasonal retreats, immersive training, and for those called to it, monastic study and residency.
Founding members of Origin Institute will be the first invited when those doors open. Lineage Keepers receive priority invitation, discounted residency rates, and the opportunity to apply for on-site monastic residency.
Section 508(c)(1)(a) of the Internal Revenue Code provides that churches, their integrated auxiliaries, and associations of churches are mandatory exceptions to the notice requirements of Section 508(a).
This means Origin Temple is automatically recognized as tax-exempt as a church — without the need to apply for recognition from the IRS.
This standing reflects Origin Temple's identity as a genuine spiritual ministry operating in the private domain under the laws of nature, universal harmony, and ecclesiastical law as interpreted by its Board of Trustees.
Origin Temple embraces the identity of Spiritual Sovereign — a community that is not bound by any single religious tradition, but is free to derive truth and enlightenment from all traditions, teachings, or none at all.
The ministry is rooted in the practices it transmits — traditional Chinese martial arts, Qìgōng, and holistic internal cultivation — while welcoming practitioners from all spiritual backgrounds.
Membership is voluntary. Members enter through the Digital Monastery and affirm alignment with the Statement of Faith and Code of Ethics. It is free to join. The only requirement is a genuine commitment to cultivation, ethical living, and contribution to the world.
Origin Institute is an integrated educational auxiliary of Origin Temple — a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational corporation that carries out the Temple's educational mission through a structured, lineage-based curriculum.

The Temple and the Institute are coordinated in mission, governed by the same founding Trustees, and bound by a formal Affiliation Agreement and Shared Governance Resolution. The Institute's programs are delivered through the Temple's Digital Monastery platform.
The Director holds executive authority over all organizational, strategic, and operational decisions of the ministry. The Board of Trustees meets as needed to conduct the business and affairs of Origin Temple.
The same founding Trustees govern both Origin Temple and Origin Institute, ensuring coordinated mission, doctrine, and stewardship across the church and its educational arm.
Origin Temple is committed to full institutional transparency. All governing documents are available for public inspection and download.
